In December 2013, Dr. Mpfareleni Rejoyce Gavhi visited Pixar Animation Studios in California to learn more about the role of mathematics research in animation movie production.

On October 9, 2013, Dr Rejoyce Gavhi took part in the inaugural German-South African Science Slam at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre in Johannesburg.     The competition was part of the "German Week"

Mathematics Camp at Maseno University, 

From 18 to 24 June, Dr. Rejoyce Gavhi volunteered at a mathematics camp at Maseno University, Western Kenya, in August 2013. The week-long camp provides extracurricular mathematics

African Women Mathematicians Workshop 

This workshop took place from July 17th to 19th, 2013, and was hosted by AIMS-South Africa. Its purpose was to promote mathematics and African women mathematicians.

Postdoc Researcher

Dr. Rejoyce Gavhi postdoctoral fellowship

Dr Rejoyce Gavhi, affiliated to the University of Alberta, in Canada, started her 2-year AIMS postdoctoral fellowship on 24 June 2013. She will work with Professor Johan de Villiers.
